Cleaning Dr. Brown's bottles

Ugh - cleaning Dr. Brown's bottles takes FOREVER! Anyone use these and have any tips? I have been handwashing all the little pieces and dread when my LO starts daycare - more bottles to wash every night.  Thanks!

I've tried them before and when I used to have them I'd clean out the vent system using the thin blue bristle brush they gave me in the box. If scrub it through the long tube of the vent and the top part that attaches that has a small opening across it.

It sucks but the only thing I could do was hand wash them. They didn't help with gas or spit up too much with my baby, or I didn't see a noticeable difference at least so now I just use Philips Avent bottles. But even cleaning those are a pain in the butt!! I hate bottles

I use the medela steam bags to clean my bottle parts! Just put some water in the bag with the parts and throw it in the microwave for 3 minutes! Works good for me

If you're not set on using dr. Browns, plated bottles have drop in bags so you don't have to clean anything. You just toss out the baggie

They're dishwasher safe. I handwash the nipples because sometimes gunk gets stuck in them in the dishwasher, but everything else goes in the dishwasher!

I use my dishwasher or boil everything.

Dishwasher. it gets plenty hot to properly clean.

I bought a basket off Amazon and put all the parts in there and throw it all in the dishwasher. Problem solved!

Dr browns has dishwasher baskets with slots for all those specific parts. We use those and run the dishwasher.... easy! Daycare definitely made bottle washing suck extra so that's when we started washing in the baskets and dishwasher.

I complain every day about washing these dang Dr Brown bottles. I hand wash in steaming hot water as I go. I just can't run the dishwasher every day. I don't want to buy more bottles because then I'll just have even more bottle parts laying around.
